Former Royal harpist, Hannah Stone performs as guest artist with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at the North Wales International Music Festival, St. Asaph Cathedral on Saturday 26th September at 19:30.
In a programme of energy and light, Hannah and BBC NOW perform the world première of Gareth Glyn's 'Amaterasu', a new commission for harp and orchestra written especially for the occasion and Debussy's 'Danses sacrée et profane'. The concert will be recorded live for future broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
Hannah returns to St Asaph Cathedral on Monday 28th September at 19:30 to give a solo harp recital as part of the Festival, with a programme including works by Scarlatti, Debussy, Renié, Caplet, Salzedo and Mathias.
