Mezzo soprano Sioned Gwen Davies and tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths will go head to head in one of Wales's most prestigious national singing competition, with not only a large cash prize at stake but also the matchless opportunity to represent Wales in BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in 2017.

Accompanied by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, conducted by Gareth Jones the five finalists will perform before a distinguished jury including Sir Thomas Allen, Dame Anne Murray, Ryland Davies, Rebecca Evans and Julian Smith.

The final will be held at St David's Hall, cardiff on Wednesday 25th May at 19:30.
